PEERLESS PHOTOGRAPHY

THE FINEST IN DIGITAL OUTPUT FOR

                             ALL OF YOUR PHOTOGRAPHIC NEEDS

Most businesses have an Internet address with an extension of ".com".  Most charitable, civic, and church organizations have a Web address with an extension of ".org".  You will notice that Peerless Photography has a ".org" extension and not a ".com" extension which is reflective of the fact that this photography business started as a charitable endeavor, providing gratis photos to church organizations, communities, and charitable foundations for their specific needs.  Whether your needs are individual or for your civic, charitable, or church group, think of Peerless Photography for the finest in digital photography!

The mission of Peerless Photography is to provide the absolute finest in digital imagery for a variety of personal and group needs.  Images can be output for standard prints, Website work, business stationery, brochures, greeting cards, calendars, and the like.  Letting your imagination become creative is not a problem for Peerless Photography - all digital images are processed in Adobe Photoshop and clients wishing to have some Photoshop fun are encouraged!  Photoshop permits the creation of multi-layer composite photos, typography on photos, restoration and retouching of old cherished photos, resizing of photos, and creation of pencil sketches and oil paintings from photographic originals.  With Photoshop and Peerless Photography, the options are only limited by your imagination!

Peerless Photography is owned and operated by Dr. John L. Sopchak - a life-long Milltown, N.J. resident who "retired" from the practice of orthodontics twenty years prematurely to follow his passion for photography.  The same exactitude required for the proper alignment of teeth is lavished upon your photographic requirements.

Please spend some time examining the various photographic portfolios which have been created on this Website illustrating a wide variety of photographic situations and creative challenges.  All photos appearing on this Website were taken by Dr. Sopchak, remain the property of Peerless Photography, and are not to be duplicated without permission.  I hope that you enjoy your visit to the Peerless Photography Website.  Please let me know if I can be of assistance in meeting your photographic needs.

WHAT'S NEW AT PEERLESS PHOTOGRAPHY

November 5, 2007 - Thinking about doing something different? Look carefully at the photo below. If its dimension and scope look somewhat unusual, they are! This photo was created by taking six distinct photos in the vertical dimension over a very short period of time. The photos were then seamlessly stitched together to give a view greater than 180 degrees and probably closer to 270 degrees. Add some classy type to the photo for the client and you have a distinctive photo product.

INFRARED PHOTOGRAPHY

August 10, 2007 - The photo below was taken at Rutgers University but not with your usual camera. It was taken with a Fujifilm IS-1, a camera whose digital sensor is "tricked out" only to record the infrared portion of the light spectrum. In the infrared frame of reference, deep blue skies appear black and green vegetation appears white. The schema helps to create some otherworldly images. The photo below was not "Photoshopped" to look like an infrared photo. It is the real thing, courtesy of Fuji.

MATTED PHOTOS

March 28, 2007 - Peerless Photography now has the ability to mat a page with from one to more than a dozen mat openings per page. The item immediately below is a reduction of an 11" x 14" page in a wedding album. The numerous possibilities of mat color and mat texture, along with the number and style (rectangular, square, oval, round) of mat openings gives the client an almost unlimited number of options for album creation. Album pages can be formatted all alike or each page can be individually unique. In the case of a wedding album, for example, the new bride can choose album photos and layout and see the finished result before it goes to the album printer, thus giving her complete control over the entire album creation process. Use your imagination - what you see below is not limited to album creation - it can also be used to layout family photos on a single printed sheet. The client purchases the picture frame, but with two-dimensional matting so realistic that it appears to be three-dimensional, there is no longer a need to purchase expensive physical matting. Peerless Photography will output the final result - photos with mat - to fit your frame dimensions exactly.

RECENT PHOTOGRAPHY

January 6, 2007 - An aspiring artist had a treasure trove of artwork that he had completed at home as a hobby in his free time but his collection was known only to those who had visited his home. Peerless Photography was recently invited to the artist's home to document his artwork photographically (please see the two samples immediately below) and now that he is in possession of the art photos, he has already begun e-mailing samples to friends, family, and potential clients. When his website is completed, the whole world will be able to see his artwork, not just visitors to his home! Let Peerless Photography help you display your talents to the world for fun or for profit!

RECENT PHOTOGRAPHY

January 2, 2007 - Two days into the new year, the Borough of Milltown conducted a reorganization meeting at which new borough council members were installed. Peerless Photography was there to record the event and to take matters further with the two photo customizations which you see below. Let Peerless Photography take your images to new creative heights with customization and compositing of images.
